I remember when i first started doing Literature, i thought how hard could it be? I mean it's just reading a novel. I later on realized that it's more than that you actually have to understand the set texts.
First step...◉‿◉
You first need to know your syllabus code. This will help you to prepare for your examination at the end of the year. Ask your teacher the components that you use. After doing all this, use the information that you have it should be very easy for you to get down to business.
Second step... ʘ‿ʘ
I remember when I did my GCSE, one of my set book was Macbeth by William Shakespeare. Do a background check on who is William Shakespeare. When was Macbeth written which era was it set on. You should have all the information that you need you have to start reading.
Third step...(•‿•)
When you are doing your your past examination papers read the instructions. If you're doing syllabus code 0475 (0486), the first paper being people one is for poetry and prose this one is to advantage because you can answer both as passage based making your life a lot easier. For paper 2 if you doing drama, passage based is for the one you don't really know but essay based its for the one you know really well.
DON'T FORGET TO...
- Read instructions
- Do practice questions
- Make sure you have a lot of quotes
- Enjoy your exam...
