YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND EVERYTHING:
It's been a crazy couple of weeks. It's back to school and a lot has changed. Some have started their first year of high school some their last. You get to experience the changes that come along with each grade.
I must say that I don't understand everything as much as it's my last year in high school. High school is just a big jigsaw puzzle that can't be solved. As a senior, you feel as though you know everything there is to know but you don't know.
What's sad about it all is that juniors look up to you for advice as they think you know it all. Sometimes they think you can solve their life drama. Is it the case?
Each stage of life has its obstacles. One minute you feel you have it all figured out but you don't. Sometimes it's good to admit that you don't understand what's happening around you.
I remember when I was a junior I never understood why seniors acted as they did. It's as if they wanted our lives to be miserable. But technically it's true, but not 100% true. It's usually us that cause them to want to treat us the way they did. You will never understand everything about high school.
Another thing that I still don't understand is why we have the list. You know the list I'm talking about. Who is the hottest this and that? Who is better at this. Honestly, that's just unnecessary pressure.
Usually, I try my best to understand why but lately I have just realized that if it's meant to be understood it will be...
My only advice for the year is that, enjoy every waking moment of it all.
